Gail M. Blasie, P.C.

Gail M. Blasie is admitted to practice law in New York and California and before the Federal District Courts in New York.  Her practice is devoted entirely to providing high quality research and writing for the busy attorney.  Whether it be appellate work, motion practice or the drafting of pleadings, she is known for her attention to detail, thoroughness, reliability and intelligence.  She has achieved significant results for the attorneys who have employed her services.

Gail M. Blasie graduated Order of the Coif from the University of California, Davis School of Law, in 2000, and graduated from Sonoma State University With Distinction in 1989.  She received the American Jurisprudence Award for the top grade in her Torts and Property classes.

After graduating law school, Gail M. Blasie chose to join a small law practice to obtain extensive experience handling her own cases from start to finish.  She spent four years in a small firm in California, focusing primarily in matrimonial cases.  During that time, Gail had many successes, winning five out of six trials, and forcing settlement in three cases after intensive discovery and depositions.

In November 2003, Gail left the practice and devoted her time to what she loves and does best:  providing legal research, writing and litigation and appellate support to other attorneys.

Prior to graduating from law school, Gail M. Blasie was a court reporter for almost a decade, and then worked in the non-profit domestic violence arena as a coordinator of a domestic violence legal services program, a community organizer for a local domestic violence non-profit organization, and a lobbyist for a statewide alliance against domestic violence..

After many years in California, Gail relocated to New York to be closer to family.  She brought her talents and practice to Long Island in May 2004.  Her entire practice consists of providing legal research, writing and litigation support to a select group of attorneys.

In addition to running her own practice, Gail M. Blasie has been an active member in the Suffolk County Bar Association, serving as an officer of the Suffolk Academy of Law and Co-Chair of the Suffolk Corporations and Commercial Law Committee.  She has coordinated numerous continuing legal education classes for the Suffolk Academy of Law regarding corporate dissolutions, piercing the corporate veil, legal research and writing, and basic probate and administration matters.
